Malcolm, recovering from a stroke and brain surgery, faced significant challenges transitioning home with limited NDIS funding and left-side paralysis. With expert support from Innovative Australian Care (IAC), he moved safely from Medium-Term Accommodation to Supported Independent Living. Through RN-led clinical oversight, rehabilitation planning, and pressure injury prevention, Malcolm’s condition stabilised. He regained independence, avoided complications, and his family praised the care as compassionate and family-like.
Karina, an Aboriginal woman living with nine disabilities, was at risk of repeated hospitalisations due to her complex needs. With a trauma-informed, flexible care plan delivered by Innovative Australian Care (IAC), she received culturally sensitive, multidisciplinary support. Through early intervention, tailored behavioural strategies, and smart use of NDIS funding, Karina’s health stabilised, her independence grew, and she regained a sense of dignity and safety.
Thomas, living with Autism Level 3 and Epilepsy, faced extreme behaviours, restrictive practices, and repeated hospital visits. Many providers exited his case — but IAC stepped in with a Lean Six Sigma care model and 24/7 specialist support. In just 15 months, seizures and behavioural incidents significantly decreased, restrictive practices were reduced, and Thomas achieved stability, better health, and meaningful community engagement.
Ali, a renal transplant recipient, faced the risk of foot amputation due to severe diabetic ulcers. With a weakened immune system and complex needs, he required expert care. IAC delivered advanced wound management, daily clinical monitoring, and close medical oversight under Dr. Ahmad’s leadership. After 9 months, Ali healed completely, avoided amputation, regained mobility, and now walks independently — a true story of recovery and restored hope.
Romona, a 12-year-old with Autism Level 3 and ADHD, struggled with severe self-harm, emotional regulation, and restrictive practices. IAC provided 2:1 support using a Lean Six Sigma approach to identify triggers, build a positive behaviour plan, and engage her in sensory activities. With daily monitoring and compassionate care, self-harm reduced by 90%, routines improved, and Romona now thrives in a calm, supportive environment.
IAC is Australia’s only care provider to apply Lean Six Sigma, a globally recognised methodology that enhances quality, reduces errors, and improves efficiency in care delivery. By using this proven model, IAC delivers person-centred, data-driven services with measurable outcomes across disability, clinical, and mental health support, achieving results that matter.
“Lean Six Sigma methodology significantly enhances service quality, reduces errors, and improves patient satisfaction in healthcare settings.”
